Beside direct admission into an Australian university program, you have 2 other options:
Foundation program
Foundation program is the pathway for students graduating from High Schools. Students have one preparatory year before entering an Australian university study abroad program. This route is for students who have not met the entry requirements of a university program. This option is intended to help international students access and familiarize themselves with the necessary subjects and skills before entering a university program. Typically, foundation programs go without formal degrees or only grant a certificate IV at the highest level.
Vocational Education & Training (VET)
Vocational Education & Training (VET) programs are specialized alternatives to the first 2 years of University programs. They are more practical, productive and practice-oriented. The Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) makes close linkages among the study pathways of VET Schools and universities, which facilitate interdisciplinary connections across the Australian education system. After completing 2 years at VET schools, students will have a Diploma and move to the last 2 years at a university to get a university degree eventually.
